Jeff Dunham to Headline Nashville Comedy Festival

Stand-up comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham will headline the 2024 Nashville Comedy Festival at Bridgestone Arena, according to the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (NCVC).

Next year’s Nashville Comedy Festival will run from April 12-21 as downtown Nashville’s “most iconic venues” will feature the “biggest stars in comedy” for a variety of shows, the NCVC adds. The event will be produced by Outback Presents.

Dunham’s “Still Not Canceled” tour will headline the Comedy Festival with his show on April 14 at 3:00 p.m. CST. Tickets for Dunham’s Nashville show go on sale on October 2, with pre-sales starting on Thursday at ticketmaster.com.

The ventriloquist’s work has been commemorated by a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for “[m]ost tickets sold for a stand-up comedy tour.”

In addition, Dunham’s one-hour Comedy Central Special, “Me the People,” became the network’s highest-rated stand-up special last year when it premiered on November 25, marking the comedian’s four of the top-five highest-rated programs on Comedy Central.

Last year’s stand-up special featured Dunham’s puppet Walter mocking President Joe Biden, as he made frequent gaffes and misread the teleprompter while wearing the president’s signature aviator sunglasses.

Yes, Every Kid

Dunham has performed in front of over 7.25 million people across 1,390 performances from June 2007 through May 2022, earning the title of Billboard’s Top Comedy Tour for three consecutive years. The ventriloquist has completed nine international tours, with shows in more than 20 countries.

Dunham, according to his website, “donates a dollar from each of his concert tickets to local charities as he tours the country, in appreciation of the loyal support of his fans in the communities he visits.”

To date, the Jeff Dunham Fund has contributed over $3.5 million to various charitable efforts.
